School Meals

News update:  New online payment system, Parent Pay, now in place for school meal payments.

The online payment system, Parent Pay, is to be used for all school meal payments. Please note that this replaces all previous payment methods  (e.g. Cash, cheque, etc).

You can access the ParentPay login page by clicking here.

Our kitchen provides daily dishes using high quality meat, poultry and seafood - all UK sourced. Trafford's executive chef works with suppliers to ensure your child has access to a varied selection of fresh fruit, vegetables and salad items.

If your child has specific dietary requirements, please contact us to discuss this or any other questions you may have regarding school meals.

School dinners cost £2.15 per day (£10.75 per week) and are payable in advance each half-term. The amount due for the following half-term will be published in the last Newsletter before each school holiday.  All payments for school meals to be made using ParentPay.  Should you wish for your child/children to start having school dinners you must ensure that your child's ParentPay account is in credit by at least £10.75 at all times.  Failure to do so could result in the school not being able to offer your child school dinners.

For the half-term commencing Tuesday 23rd April 2019, school lunches will cost £49.45 for children in Year 3 and above (23 days at £2.15 per day). Payment to be made via Parent Pay only and should be credited in advance of meals being taken.

Milk money for children in Reception who turned five on or before 22nd April 2019 will be £3.68. Payment by cash or cheque (cheques should be made payable to St Hugh's Catholic Primary School). Please note, milk money cannot be paid via Parent Pay.

Milk costs 16p per day for children aged 5 in Reception and is payable in advance for the half-term. The amount due will be confirmed in the last Newsletter at the end of the previous half-term. This payment becomes payable the half-term after your child turns five.

If your child misses a school meal (for example, if they are absent from school due to sickness, or away on a school trip) then you will receive a credit, which can then be deducted from your next payment.

Free school meals are available for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, although you may opt to send in a packed lunch instead. Free school meals are also available for some older children. To see if you qualify, please visit:
