SOUTH MANCHESTER PRIMARY SCHOOLS ATHLETICS FESTIVAL 2017
On Thursday 22nd June, 11 schools competed at ‘Timperley Track’ for the South Manchester Athletics Festival. There was a large gathering of spectators who were treated to some exciting races and they witnessed speed, endurance, determination, respect and courage from the competitors. It was great to see all of the children showing off their talents and enjoying themselves immensely. Medals were given out throughout the afternoon and after the final relay races the results were collated. St Hugh’s won the boys’ trophy while Heyes Lane School won the girls’ trophy, and Bowdon Church won the overall trophy.
