Tracing our shadows
When we were learning about why the sun seems to come up and go down over the day (because of the rotation of the Earth), we were struggling to plot the shadow of a tree. As luck would have it, it was a sunny day so we went outside and used chalk to draw around our shadows! We were then able to talk about the path of the sun and how shadows change through the day.
