School Choir

Christmas Carol Concert 2018

On Thursday 13^th December our school choir performed a concert in Church for family and parishioners. The children retold the story of the Nativity through song and readings. The choir was particularly well attended this year and it was lovely to see so many of our younger year 3 children taking part. This was followed by refreshments in the Parish Centre which raised £285 for Shelter. As we approach Christmas we pause and reflect on how fortunate we are and we help those in need.

Many thanks to Mrs Pearson and Mrs Leathley for their hard work. Both they and the children gave up so much of their time for rehearsals which made the evening such a success. Many thanks also to Mrs McGee and Mrs Jones who prepared the Parish Centre and organised the refreshments.
