Boys' Football League

Matchday 1

On the 28th of September the boys football team played 2 league matches against the Bollin and Bowdon Church. In the first game we took on the Bollin who were a very strong team. Throughout the match neither team had many chances, although towards the end of the game we created 3 very good attempts. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to score and the game ended 0-0.

Our 2nd game was against Bowdon Church and like Bollin they were a talented team. We started off very strongly and we scored 2 well worked goals. After that, Bowdon scored but we didn’t let our heads drop. We scored a further 2 goals and we were playing with no fear. Once again, we made a brilliant attack which led to another amazing team goal. In the last few minutes they grabbed a constellation / consolation goal but it didn’t affect us winning. Eventually, the game ended and we won 5-2.

We left with our heads high and 4 points from the 2 matches.
