Sports Hall Athletics

To kick off the victorious afternoon the girls and boys won both of the relay races. From being very successful, we had a little downfall during the girls 2x2 relay being in last place, however Jessica Malloy then caught up and got us to second place.

There was no stopping the boys, winning all of their track events and also holding strong in the field events.

The girls only lost two races and did brilliantly in the field events as well!

There was no stopping the boys from smashing everyone’s score in the javelin throwing….especially when Christy Grogan hit the back of the hall from the opposite end of the sportshall!

The girls had tough competition but still came through for victory!

Not to mention Mr Gilby winning javelin for the third time in a row. I think some of the other teachers want a turn winning!

The tension was building as it came to the last event, but our victory streak did not end there and we won our final event!

Now we are heading to the Trafford finals and hope to be victorious again.
