Terrific Tag Rugby Run!

St. Hugh’s A team made it all the way to the final of the Trafford Tag Rugby tournament on Wednesday 17th October. In the group stage we won all 3 matches against St. Mary’s, St. Vincents and Cloverlea. We went into the semi finals feeling confident and came out with a great victory against Hale Prep. We won 5-2. Then we played our rivals the Bollin (who like us, had won all their games). Even though we played very well they won 2-1.

The St Hugh’s B team played 5 matches winning 1 of them. Both teams played exceptionally well and showed great team spirit.

Well done to Harry (Y6) and Austin (Y5) who were awarded a ‘spirit of the games’ badge for their fair play, motivation and team spirit.
