The School Day
Start and End of the School Day
Staff supervision is provided for children from 8.45 am. Any parent bringing or sending their child to school before then remains liable for their safety. The children are to come into school from 8.45-8.55am. A bell will ring at 8.55am, to signal the closing of the exterior doors and registration. If your child comes into school after the close of registration, they will be deemed late and the register will be marked accordingly. Any child arriving late should enter the school through the office to ensure that they are registered correctly.
There is a staggered end to the day to allow parents/carers to collect each child from their allocated pick up point, highlighted on the maps sent out attached to the final July newsletter. All gates will be locked during the school day to ensure that our site remains secure. The school gates will be open at 8.40am each morning and will be locked again by 9.00am. The gates will then be re-opened at 3.15pm.
Any child being picked up after this time for any reason, including collection following an after-school event, should collect their child from the main reception area of school.
