Our recent outcomes for pupils attainment and progress are well above average and place us as a high-performing school.
Our three Outstanding feeder schools are Blessed Thomas Holford College, Loreto Grammar School and St Ambrose College. Children attending our school get priority for entry in Y7 at these schools. St Hugh’s Catholic Primary School is a Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided school, situated in the Diocese of Shrewsbury and is maintained by Trafford Local Authority. Admissions to the school are the responsibility of the Governing Body, in accordance with the stated parental preference, subject to the following set of Admission criteria forming a priority order where there are more applications for admission than the school has places available. If you would like to apply for a place for your child in our purpose-built Nursery starting in September, please find below further information including a link to our admissions application form and policy. We are currently offering flexibility with places including 15 hour part time places and 30 hour full-time places. An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places. An application should be made to the school by completing the in-year admissions application form and returning it to firstname.lastname@example.org along with the school’s supplementary information form
All in-year admissions are dealt with directly by school. A copy of our in-year admissions form will be sent to you for completion or can alternatively be found here.
Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements for September, will be applied. Parents are advised to read the admission arrangements carefully before making their application. If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list. Please see the admission arrangements for more details. You will be advised of the outcome of your application in writing as soon as possible. Applicants must be informed of the outcome of their application within 15 school days of receipt, but the aim is to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within 10 school days of receipt.
You have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if your application is unsuccessful.
